The cost of a Student Health Insurance plan is typically only about one-third the cost of an employer plan.

A: In most cases, only the student is required to seek treatment at the Campus Health Center before seeking treatment elsewhere, unless in an emergency situation. If a student lives outside of a 20 mile radius of the Campus Health Center, then they may choose a doctor in their area. Verify how your school works before you seek medical treatment, so that you will get care you need at the lowest cost possible to you.

A: If you have registered for school, you should automatically receive a student health insurance packet. However, if you registered late or your mailing address isn’t accurate, your packet may not arrive on time.
